I’ve been told that I’m creative, passionate, focused, organized and fun to be around. I think that I’m fearless, but not reckless in my approach to marketing. My primary goal is to elicit a positive emotion: excitement, pride, love. I also apply this fearlessness to life in general and it has served me well.
I’m proud of the depth and breadth of understanding I’ve acquired about business while helping different types of industries in marketing, customer service, and project management over a span of 20 years.
Being passionate about my creativity enables me to see everything in a different light. I’m not governed by my personal opinions and use perspective as my key to finding solutions.

In my career I have developed a clear, organized understanding and ability to create, manage and implement a strategic marketing campaign across all advertising mediums. In addition, analyzing and tracking plan effectiveness and creating, tracking, negotiating and fulfilling media buys. My strong background in social media and Internet marketing can help extend the reach to new customers, donors, and clients.
As Marketing Coordinator for the Greeley Stampede I managed and implemented a $1M marketing budget for concerts, rodeos, carnival and other associated attractions and events. I was also responsible for media relations and community engagement.
Ramping up year-round social media and internet presence is a key marketing component to an increase in ticket sales, attendance and reach. As Director of the Minturn Community Fund, I managed and produced forty-two successful event fundraising projects for this community-focused, non-profit organization. I fostered positive community partnerships and sponsors. I also managed and produced online, print and radio advertising and marketing efforts including press releases, blogging, social media, website creation, weekly newsletters, monthly postcards, brochures, posters, yard signs, newsletters, event signage and overall graphic design.
I have also had the opportunity to showcase my creativity and leadership by working as a director for a national social media marketing company. I developed social marketing campaigns for local and national businesses, created brand awareness through e-newsletters and blogs, and used my graphic design and photography skills for advertising. I was also a Constant Contact, certified ALE (email marketing Authorized Local Expert) and seasoned public speaker.
I have over ten years experience as a trainer and have traveled around Colorado to give presentations to organizations on Internet marketing. I also have fifteen years of customer service experience, which includes ten years project management and personnel supervising.
I was featured in the Greeley Tribune, Greeley Unexpected, and Downtown Greeley newsletter for organizing a Greeley walk for the 8th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk. I also volunteered my Webmaster skills to the Greeley Chamber of Commerce and updated their website weekly.
Recently, I worked as a contracted Executive Director for the Mancos Creative District, in advertising sales for The Durango Herald and worked a summer job as the studio manager for an old time photography studio. My husband and I bought a house in Dolores in 2017. After being associated with the military for over ten years, I've planted roots in beautiful Montezuma County.
Today, I am working on our 1908 Victorian “fixer-upper” while picking up my camera and pondering what’s next. I currently volunteer in Cortez as the KSJD Daytime Collective DJ on Thursdays from 9am-11am. I was also in two productions at the Sunflower Theatre. My mom bought a house in Cortez and moved here last Summer.
